Student Global Impact is an idea. The idea of missions mobilization. The idea that this current generation of young adults will learn to mobilize each other for Great Commission living. As a ministry we make ourselves available to young adults who want to learn about missions mobilization.
SGI exists to honor God by mobilizing students to discover, develop,
and fulfill their role in the great commission.
Communication is one facet of what SGI offers, while resources
is another. Many mission-minded students are reading mission material
that is readily available to them. Unfortunately, the material
they are using is not as wholesome as they might think. SGI does
the legwork to find or create material written from a Fundamental
background for student use.

What is a student
mission group?
A student mission group is a group of students who meet to provide
a forum of ideas and opportunities where peers can challenge one
another to take the next step in their mission experience by providing
information for the curious, inspiration for the concerned, and
encouragement and practical help for the committed.
How can networking
help a Student Mission Group?
With a network available, groups could benefit by:
prayer support from other groups
collaboration, not isolation
combined insights, interaction, and influence
our website: articles, links and advisors
first rate resources: materials, tools, seminars, and training
opportunities
the multiplicity of available mission trips
read testimonies from students of member (participating
in the network) groups.
Board of reference
SGI is thankful for the relationship it has with its reference board of local church pastors and missionaries.
We, the members of SGI, are completely convinced that we live in an important time period. God is doing amazing things around the globe and we are seeking to identify ourselves with His global cause and be faithful in the role of His choosing. History has proven that students have played a crucial role in the mobilization and realization of a movement towards evangelizing the unreached peoples of the world. SGI is seeking to motivate and challenge our generation of students for a similar movement. Our desire is to equip and network student mission groups that will be the catalyst on their campus to see a revival of a movement once known in our land as the Student Volunteer Movement.
